In addition to the new website, after 15 years since it's creation, I thought my Treatment Studio in North Tonbridge was in need of a bit of an update. Keep your eyes peeled during your next visit... but
Here are a few hints at the new layout. My thanks go to Iain Barr carpentry Tonbridge for creating this wonderful new look in my facial studio, which is intended to compliment my Avebury Avenue shop design - he is a genius.

My story continues...
Over the next 12 months I will be sharing with you some landmark moments in my business story.
Chapter 2 : GETTING SERIOUS
As I admitted, there was no big business plan or great ambitious dream, just a need to make some money to contribute to the the family budget, as the family began to grow.
My husband Paul and I decided to wait to see if baby Will would settle into a good sleep routine. We had been so lucky with Alex, taking her amazing sleep patterns for granted! When I look back now I can't believe how I used to book clients in for Facials while she slept. She was that reliable!
Thankfully Will settled nicely into the routine we had worked out around both of our work patterns. So I treated clients around Paul's shift work and he began the unenviable task of keeping children as quiet as possible as I carried out various treatments in another room.
Once we had the babies organised we decided to get serious with this little business of mine. We started with creating a slightly more professional looking price list. Though this was still designed by me, printed on our home printer, cut with our little guillotine and folded by us both. Happily it was Paul's idea to take a photo of this time. I'm so pleased he did. It's great to look back to such a special time, kiddies upstairs in their little beds whilst we started to grow the business, little knowing where it would lead us.
I began posting these price lists (below) through as many doors in North Tonbridge as we could manage (can you tell I used to work for Jo Malone?!) What was I thinking, using that font, I'm surprised anyone could read it!!

The majority of those local ladies who took a chance on me are still my clients today.
So clients began to increase in number as my new baby friends joined my list of clients and word spread around the neighbourhood.
However it was no longer as easy or appropriate to keep transforming our living room into a treatment room, every evening. The effort of removing any trace of baby toys or family life wasn't much fun. It was time to make a more permanent work space...

Disappointing my clients with a long wait for their facial is no fun, so I have compiled a few tips to help you book the time to yourself that you so deserve.
DON'T HESITATE - if you feel it's time for some pampering or you have received a Gift Voucher that you would like to redeem, please don't put off getting in touch with me. As things stand at the moment the longer you leave it the longer you may have to wait for you appointment.
BE PREPARED TO BOOK IN ADVANCE - to avoid disappointment maybe consider booking weeks/months in advance, that way you will secure the best time and date for you.
BOOK AT REGULAR INTERVALS AS FAR AHEAD AS YOU WISH - if you envisage always wanting a particular treatment on a particular time on a particular day I am more than happy to book that in the dairy as far ahead as you wish rather than you miss out.
BOOK YOUR NEXT COUPLE OF APPOINTMENTS STRAIGHT AFTER YOUR TREATMENT WITH ME - before leaving after your treatment get the next date or two in the diary.
